What’s Ahead for 2021-2022

After a well-enjoyed summer break, the Extemper’s Bible is back! Keep reading to find out more about exciting updates to the site and what you can expect from us.

Update #1: Weekly Quizzes

Every Monday, you can expect a 10-question quiz on current affairs. 5 questions will cover US topics and 5 questions will cover IX topics. This will be a great way to keep up with the news!

Update #2: Bimonthly Seminars

While the frequency of our extemp seminars may change based on interest, we are tentatively planning on hosting a free extemp seminar every two weeks. These seminars will touch up on a host of topics: the art of substructure, debriefing Israel-Palestine, college in extemp, etc. Sign-ups to the seminars will be posted on our website and our Instagram (@extempersbible).

Update #3: Interviews are Coming Back

From national champions to TOC finalists, we have an exciting slate of interview guests for the Extemper’s Bible. Expect interviews to be uploaded to our podcast (also called the Extemper’s Bible) and summarized on our website.

Update #4: Questions of the Day

If you enjoy content from the Extemper’s Bible, you’ll find lots of additional information on our Instagram (@extempersbible). Every weekday, we post a “question of the day” — something that quizzes you on your knowledge of domestic and international affairs. We also post about free opportunities and resources. Give us a follow!

Update #5: A More Frequent Posting Schedule

While this may vary on a week-to-week basis, expect posts from the Extemper’s Bible every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Update #6: Points Race (Pt 2)

After an enjoyable points race last season, we’re excited to announce that we will be hosting another points race this season! The coordinators of the race—Jimmy Gao and Steve Asthana—will be posting more information in the coming weeks.

Update #7: We’re Running a Newsletter

If you’d like information about new posts, seminars, and other exciting opportunities, you should sign up for our weekly newsletter! Expect more information about this in the coming weeks.
